Telangana's farm investment support scheme (called Rythu Bandhu under the BRS government and continued as Rythu Bharosa under the Congress government) provides direct cash support to farming families before each cropping season.
What the Scheme Provides
The scheme provides per-acre seasonal investment support directly to farmers' bank accounts. The amount and eligibility criteria are subject to revision by the government each season — always verify the current amount at the official source before the season begins.
Eligibility
- Must be a registered landowner / cultivator in Telangana
- Land must be agricultural
- Beneficiary must have a bank account linked to land records
How to Check Status
Farmers can check their status:
- Visit the official Telangana portal
- Enter your Aadhaar number and land Passbook details
- Status is updated before each season
