- cheruvu చెరువు Tank or irrigation reservoir. Telangana's historic Kakatiya-era tank network is built on cheruvulu.
- jonna జొన్న Sorghum (jowar) — a staple dryland grain of Telangana.
- nagali నాగలి Bullock-drawn plough used to till the field.
