Editorial Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026
1. Independence
All editorial decisions are made independently by Telanganam. We do not accept paid editorial content, advertorial, or sponsored articles that are not clearly labelled.
2. Sources
We cite official Telangana government portals (ts.gov.in, dharani.telangana.gov.in) for scheme information. Cultural and historical content is based on public-domain sources, author expertise, and operator's lived regional knowledge. We paraphrase and cite Telugu-language press (Sakshi, Namaste Telangana, Eenadu) - we do not reproduce their content.
3. Author bylines
Every content page is reviewed before publication. Public bylines may be displayed where appropriate, but the site can also publish under Telanganam editorial attribution for reference pages.
4. Review cadence
Government scheme pages: reviewed quarterly. Festival pillars: reviewed annually before festival season. Content older than 18 months displays an age notice. District pages: reviewed annually.
5. Corrections
We correct factual errors promptly. Email corrections@telanganam.com with evidence. Corrections are noted on the article with the date corrected.
6. AI assistance
Telanganam uses AI tools to assist with drafting. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, verified against primary sources, and signed off by a named human author before publication. AI-generated text is not published unedited.
7. Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense for advertising. Advertisements are served automatically and are editorially independent of our content.
8. Scope limits
Telanganam covers Telangana state - culture, festivals, districts, government schemes, and regional personalities. We do not cover daily political news (see telanganam.in for future daily news), strict financial/legal advice, or deep tribal heritage content outside our expertise (see sammakka.com for Medaram/Koya heritage).
