BC Bandhu (బీసీ బంధు) is Telangana's welfare scheme for Backward Classes (OBC communities) providing financial assistance for self-employment and enterprise development.
Background
Telangana has a large Backward Class population covering communities like Yadava, Mudiraj, Padmasali, Koppula Velama, Goud (Settibalija), Kummari, Kamsali, and many others. BC Bandhu is designed to address economic disadvantages faced by these communities.
